Client: Leading UK Hospitality Firm

Leading the delivery of a £22m transformation from inception, through technology design, implementation and rollout. This involved leading a team of 52 implementation staff to train 39,000 staff, installing technology into 1,800 pubs and restaurants.
Infrastructure and Application Carve-Out
Client: UK Energy Firm
Duration: 9 months
Engaged by the client to assist them in the carve-out of an acquisition, consolidate technology and re-brand as a new entity. Key activities were to validate and agree Transitional Services Agreements (TSAs), agree co-existence and then enduring, strategic technology platforms and oversee the migration Active Directory services and consolidation into a single Microsoft Tenant.
Competency Centre Establishment
Client: Global Pharmaceutical Firm
Duration: 1 year
As part of a re-implementation of non-compliant Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) functionality in their Global SAP instance, the client required the creation of a compliant, global support function for the new application. This assignment successfully designed and implemented technology and validated, compliant, global processes for the support function, and recruited and trained 50 staff to operate the function.
Global ERP Rollout

Duration: 1 year
Led the system integrator element of the programme to design. build and implement a new Global ERP and Data Warehouse solution for a leading Consumer Goods Firm. Planned the global rollout and personally oversaw the initial implementation of first market (Germany).
Technical Services Migration
Client: FTSE100 Hospitality Firm
Duration: 18 months
Programme Leader responsible for the planning and execution of moving all technology services pillars from one outsourced provider to another including: Data Centre, telephony, network (1,500 locations), applications, data and IT service. Accountable for supplier management, programme execution and detailed cutover planning.
Technical Debt Removal Programme
Client: UK Household Retailer
Duration: 9 months
Formed a multi-disciplined team 50+ consultants to triage a 300+ item backlog into 139 concurrent projects that were initiated and delivered inside 9 months in preparation for Black Friday. This included remedial actions across the entire enterprise architecture including, but not limited to, mainframe replacement, front end refactoring and application upgrade/replacement across a distributed business to double the capacity for digital order taking and fulfillment over peak trade.
Startup Transformation
Client: PE-backed Tech Startup
Duration: 18 months
Working with the Executive Team to build governance and culture to support the firm as it hit Post-Revenue and started to scale. This involved implementing change disciplines, product management processes and delivering a refactoring of the technology stack.
CRM Implementation

Technical Programme Leader for the design and configuration of a 22-country Sales and Marketing CRM application that covered Sales Forecasting, Trade Spend Management, Retail Audits and Key Account Investment Management.

Designed and operated the PMO for the transformation of the clients entire IT function creating ITIL processes and providing the roadmap to achieve CMMI level 4 (from a starting point of 2). This programme was run jointly with the consultancy and the client with a team of 100+ consultants and staff.
Banking Merger
Client: UK Retail Bank
Duration: 14 months
Responsible of the operations of a 8-person PMO team that coordinated the activities to integrate the core platforms of two leading Retail Banks. A complex planning environment with 10,000+ milestones, taking a lead in dependency management, progress reporting and plan and delivery quality for the 9 core platform teams.
Cloud Infrastructure Transformation

Duration: 16 months
Implemented core PMO disciplines across all demand management processes for IT Services then took the lead role in managing the outsourced supplier to deliver changes to core infrastructure and migrate services to the cloud.
Regulated Industry Transformation
Client: Government Transformation Programme
Duration: 15 months
Operated the PMO for the government-backed scheme to deregulate the electricity supply industry. Responsible to all 13 legacy Public Electricity Suppliers, managed the planning, staffing and costs for the delivery of the transformation and establishment of the Data Transfer Catalogue.

Assessment to establish the level of technical debt and options to replace a legacy system that had been homegrown over many years and needed replacing. Created the options assessment, business case and roadmap of activity.

Ran a selection process including RFP development, supplier shortlisting and scoring mechanism for a charity selecting CRM software.
Cryptocurrency Advice

Duration: 1 month
Assisted a charity to understand more about cryptocurrency in relation to a large crypto donation that was offered and helped them to navigate the decision on whether to accept the donation or not.
